With Resplus's annual travelcard upgrade, you get nearly all of Swedens public transport services on a single ticket!

By purchasing a Resplus annual travelcard upgrade for your SJ annual travelcard, you are entitled to unlimited use of  PTA- and urban public transport-run carriers for as long as your annual travelcard is valid. You can, for instance, begin your journey from your home and take a PTA-run coach to a train station, board a train, arrive in the vicinity of where you're going, and take a local bus to your destination. This way you can arrive much closer to your destination as opposed to just taking the train between two stations- and it's also far smoother to use just one card!

This makes it simpler and more attractive for  travelersm, who frequently commute interregionally, to travel using local and regional public transport, as the traveler doesn't need to know which company provides which routes, where tickets can be purchased and the price per ticket. 

The Resplus annual travelcard upgrade is based on a price arrangement between the PTA of a county and Resplus, where the participating company's compensation is provided from splitting the revenues from ticket sales. The ratio for revenue distribution is determined according to the deduction principles for pre-booked Resplus journeys, which have held for 15 years, and which today account for 1.5 billion SEK in turnovers.

Traveling with the Resplus upgrade doesn't require booking and withdrawing tickets, and therefore it is possible to travel back and forth between all of Swedens ca 50 000 stops with one ticket, when the counties and municipalities normal tickets are accounted for in the upgrade. With normally booked Resplus tickets, journeys between ca 3500 stops are offered. Along with the PTA of a given county, we have tied the local municipalities PTAs to the annual travelcard upgrade. This means that carriers from Karlstad, Enköping, Bode, Luleå, Kiruna, and Gällivare are even included in the upgrade.

Smooth visa process for the traveler

As a traveler on interregional and local routes, you do not need to reserve your tickets, all you need to do is show your annual pass with the Resplus upgrade and a photo ID during the visa process.

Seat reservation

Naturally, the option to make a seat reservation is provided when using the carriers Tågab, Tåg i Bergslagens trains, Öresundståg and Kustpilen. To obtain a desired seat, one must reserve and aquire a ticket from the same locations where tickets can be reserved with an annual travelcard.
